Terms of use
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These terms apply when you use TickNow (ticknow.app), whether as a guest or with an account. TickNow is run by Code Impact S.R.L, a company registered in Romania. By using TickNow you agree to these terms. Questions go to support@ticknow.app.
The service
TickNow is a daily planner: you plan tasks, to-dos, drafts and lists, time your work in sessions, and see where your time went. TickNow is in beta, so features may change, and some may be added, limited or removed as it develops.
Your account and your passphrase
- You can use TickNow as a guest in your browser, or create an account with an email and a password. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
- What you write is locked with your passphrase before it leaves your browser. We cannot read it, and we cannot recover it: if you lose your passphrase, the plans locked with it are lost.
- If you are under 16, use TickNow only with a parent's or guardian's permission. Paid plans are for adults, or for younger people with a parent's or guardian's permission.
Your content
What you write in TickNow stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to store it, sync it between your devices and show it back to you. The privacy page explains what we keep and why.
Using TickNow fairly
- Don't use TickNow to break the law or to store or share content that does.
- Don't try to reach other people's data, test or break TickNow's security, or get around its limits.
- Don't overload TickNow with automated requests beyond what the AI connectors and the app normally make.
- Don't resell or copy TickNow, or present it as your own.
If an account breaks these rules, we may limit or close it. Where we can, we tell you first and give you the chance to take your data out.
Free and paid plans
TickNow has a free plan with limits shown in the app. Where a paid plan is offered, its price, what it includes, how it renews and how to cancel are shown before you pay, and payments are handled by our payment provider. You can cancel at any time; a paid plan then stays active until the end of the period already paid. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep your legal right to withdraw from a purchase as described at checkout.
AI assistants and other connected services
- AI connectors are off until you turn them on. Once you do, an assistant you connect, such as Claude or ChatGPT, can read your plans and, if you allow it, change them on your behalf. You decide what it may do and can turn it off at any time.
- The assistant is run by its own provider under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for what an assistant says or does, so check its changes like any other.
- Google Calendar, if you connect it, is read only: TickNow brings in your meetings and never changes your calendar.
- We may limit how many assistant requests a plan includes, as shown in the app.
Availability and changes
We work to keep TickNow running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change TickNow or these terms; when the terms change, we update the date at the top, and for important changes we tell you in the app or by email before they apply.
Responsibility
TickNow is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as missed deadlines or lost profit, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Ending your use
You can stop using TickNow at any time. Starting over deletes your plans, and you can ask us to delete your account by writing to support@ticknow.app.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If something goes wrong, write to support@ticknow.app first and we will try to solve it. If you are a consumer, you can also go to the courts where you live and keep the protections of the law of your country.
